    Test-taking tips

      • Make flashcards to help yourself study.
      • Review the flashcards more than once, and not only the day before the test.
      • Make sure you get a good night's sleep.
         
      • Feed yourself a healthy breakfast. Remember that food gives us energy.
     
      • If you are stuck on a question, skip it and come back to it later. 
     
    • When you are reading passages or articles, whether they are fiction or nonfiction, think about the author's message and theme of the passage or article.
     
    Tips for ESL students
      • Read the questions more than once to understand what the questions are asking.
         
      • Read the answers more than once to make sure you are reading the choices correctly.
     
    • Look back in the text to make sure your answers make sense and answer the questions.
       
    • Reread the text!
