Hello! This is Whiskers, Room 20's FIN-TASTIC mascot! Whiskers is a West Indian Manatee who resides in the waters in and around Florida. Fun Fact: Ms. Klett's family has also adopted her Gator (which means she's adopted TWO manatees!!)
Throughout the year we have been learning about these fun aquatic mammals. Students thoroughly enjoy looking at the live webcam footage of these calm creatures (and highlight reels when the cams are inactive) during snack time!
